It is worth acknowledging that the collaboration between various educational institutions and the Department of Hausa at the Federal College of Education (Technical), Gusau, Zamfara State, Nigeria, gave rise to the inception of the 'Bagushiya Journal of Hausa Studies' in 2012. This was a result of numerous educational researchers contributing papers both within and outside the college. The department has actively maintained functional collaborations and strong linkages with leading universities nationwide in the field of Hausa studies. These partnerships led to the elevation of the journal to an international platform. Consequently, the Hausa department, in conjunction with the Department of Languages and Culture at the Federal University, Gusau, transformed it into the 'Bagushiya International Journal of Hausa (BIJAH)' to accommodate research in Hausa studies on an international scale.
